State-Specific Resale Certificate Information for U.S. Customers

Download the required exemption form for your state / province below.  Fill out the form and then scan or print and take a legible photo of the document.   Simply respond to any email from us (check your inbox) with the resale certificate attached to get your account approved right away.

Important Information:

• You need to have a sales tax permit to get a resale certificate in your state.  This is different than a federal tax ID / EIN.   We require this to buy on the Merch Showroom marketplace. Learn how to register for a sales tax permit in every state here if you haven't done this yet.
• Most companies will select "resale" as reason for exemption.
• Ensure forms are complete to avoid delays in the approval of your account.  This includes your state resale / sales tax number, our company name and address (above) and signature.

• Connecticut (CT) - MTC Form - Form and copy of seller's permit is required (2 documents).

• Iowa (IA) -  MTC Form - Form and copy of seller's permit is required (2 documents).
• Kansas (KS) -  MTC Form - Form and copy of seller's permit is required (2 documents).
• Kentucky (KY) -  MTC Form - Form and copy of seller's permit is required (2 documents).

• Massachusetts (MA) -  Massachusetts Form ST-4 is required. 
• Michigan (MI) -  MTC Form - Form and copy of seller's permit is required (2 documents).

• Mississippi (MS) -  Please provide your resale certificate or sales tax permit number and we'll verify your exemption status with your state.
• Missouri (MO) -  MTC Form - Form and copy of seller's permit is required (2 documents).
• Montana (MT) -  NO SALES TAX - Nothing Required
• Nebraska (NE) -  MTC Form - Form and copy of seller's permit is required (2 documents).
